Hi Everyone. Attached are the files from a car i've been asked to take a look at, they have a strange gearbox issue which i'm trying to diagnose.

The symptom is that the gearbox struggles to downchange. The actuator works and the DBW blips but there's little response from the engine. I can see for whatever reason this is because the Engine Speed Limit drops to low values like 361rpm.

From what i can tell in the logs the Gear Shift Engine Speed Limit doesn't look right as it constantly sits around 400rpm.

Does this come from Gear Shift Engine Speed Match table? Because that looks ok?

It sounds like they may have issues with trying to set up TC too, could this be coming from a miscalculation with gear ratios? It shows gear correctly though.

Thanks for any assistance in advance. Log and package attached.

Hi,

The wheels speeds are incorrect, this is causing the Gear Shift Engine Speed Limit to be incorrectly calculated. The help for the Gear Shift Engine Speed Limit explains this, but essentially the M1 is calculating the engine speed based off of wheel speeds and gear, and is used by the Gear Shift Engine Speed Match function.
