I'm setting up the wastegate pressure control. With 2 solenoids. And a wastgate dome pressure sensor. Setup and test of this works very well. Running of a compressed air source.

But the only way I can get access to the boost aim table is by assigning a output to the boost control resource (and not wire anything to it)

Seems like there should be another way to set the boost aim table active. Am I missing something or is that just the way it has to be done? It's Gpr package

I'm not sure if I am missing something here but the M1 will only make the feature available if you enable the relevant input or output. Are you using the M1 to control your boost? It does not sound as if you are as you say you don't have anything wired to the output.

If the M1 is not controlling boost, why do you need to know the boost aim? I can only think that you want it for logging.

If that is the case, then you have set it up correctly.

This is the same for other strategies so it keeps the channel list down.

The solenoid outputs are already assigned as wastgate pressure increase and decrease. And a wastegate dome pressure target. The wastgate pressure has a offset value and a scale. The scale value is added to boost aim. (According to its description and it makes sense)Now to make the bloost aim available i have to assign an output and not connect it because the 2 solenoids are allready assigned. (Increase and decrease)Like i said it seems like there should be another way to enable it but i have not found it.

Just heard back from Motec. Assigning the spare output is the way to do it.
