Although there are less syllables to speak and less characters to type by saying "crush tube" it is wholly misleading and thus unfair to beginners, as well as adding to a jargon pile for the fabrication trade where words don't mean what they mean because of language laziness. Please approach the governing body and recast as "anti-crush tube" everywhere that fabrication technique appears in writing and video. Thanks for considering.
