Discussion and questions related to the course Motorsport Wheel Alignment Fundamentals
I think it would be helpful for a quick crash course video going over suspension geometry terms and what each of them are.
Maybe explain camber curves/camber gain, roll center location, etc....
Hi Anthony, I feel that we discuss most of those terms in detail within the course, specifically we have a complete module on roll centre and discuss how the roll centre location is affected by suspension geometry. You're right that camber curve and camber gain aren't elaborated on though. In essence this is simply how the camber changes as the suspension moves through its travel. Specifically it's helpful if the suspension design offers an increase in negative camber (camber gain) as it moves into bump travel as this reduces the amount of static camber that's required.
If you've got any other specific terms then please ask and I'll be happy to answer them here.
