Discussion and questions related to the course Motorsport Wheel Alignment Fundamentals
Whilst this may be answered later in the course, which would you prioritise between castor angle and wheelbase in terms of getting them identical side to side?
I've always gone for castor partly because some cars left the factory with different wheelbase lengths on each side (thinking about some older Renaults)
Assuming the chassis is straight then you 'should' be pretty close. In the event that you're not though I'd tend to prioritise castor as unequal caster will result in the car feeling different in left and right handed corners, along with a variation in the handling left to right.
