Evening all,
Hope someone here can help.
As the title says, I'm looking for some experience-based advice regarding the construction of a front splitter. It's for an rx-7 (fd) track car.
It's be great to hear from anyone who has done this before. What material did you use? How did you support it on the vehicle? Any pitfalls to be aware of?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
I've made splitters from carbon fiber honeycomb panels, sheet metal, or even plywood. Typically either sheet metal or welded steel / aluminum brackets to the bodywork / chassis. Mount some jabroc skid blocks to the front corners to protect the splitter.
