Hey Team HPA.

I've just watched your Adaptronic worked example of the practical standalone tuning course. I noticed that in the software it says "34mm long" injectors for the primarys and secondarys.

So with that gain of 14mm to the 48mm injectors as suggested from cj-motorsports, is it possible to run the OEM FD ACV for the air pump?

I'm really interested in this, because I want to upgrade my FD too, but I have to keep the air pump active because of emissions laws here in Germany.

Are there any pictures of the fuel system mounted without the UIM mounted? Or is it possible to see, if the OEM ACV could stay on it's position?

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

Cheers, Toni

Found something on the build series (see attached files), but it's too dark to see something. Maybe a photo from this position might help :)

Hi Toni, no unfortunately the factory ACV doesn't fit with our fuel system install. I've included a pic for you but we're using a pretty typical blanking plate. Here in NZ we don't need the ACV for emissions compliance which makes our task a little easier. I'm not sure what I could suggest if you need to retain it sorry.

Hi Andre. Thank you very much for the picture. So I need to go with one of the fullfunctionengineering rails. Sadly this means I have to get an external fuel pressure dampener...

Or is the turbosmart fuel pressure regulator capable of taking the damper function?

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
