Has anyone setup the Mainline to connect to the LINK? I went in to see my local dyno owner and he had no idea how it was done. Id like to use CAN but LINK do not have a stream specific for this dyno.

I believe for that to work, you need the CAN option and can interface dongle enabled in the Mainline software for that

Hi Tommy, Ill find out. There is a mainline dyno webinar coming up soon so i hope Andre goes though a how to on setting up the CAN side of things.

The dyno will need to have the CAN option enabled for a start. The Link will need to be configured with the 'Generic Dash' transmit template and then you just need to connect the CAN bus to the dyno.

As others have said, you must have it enabled on your Mainline.

Mainline uses a Lawicel USB to CAN converter. The Lawicel converter has a DB9 on the CAN side. It's up to you to make the interface harness from the DB9 to the Link.
