Offline possibility?

Hi!

In my line of work, I spend a lot of time offline, at airplanes, offahore, and at places with limited, to no, access to internet, certainly not streaming.

Have you thought about a possibility to do the courses available at an offline mode?

Yes me too I am in the same situation ... I know it is hard and untrustworthy but it would be very nice if we could have a way to do this without risking that people will share the course that we pay for free..

It is something we've been looking at for some time. At the moment unfortunately we have a bit of a backlog for our developer to work through first though.

I know this is a bit of a bump, but this would be very much appreciated - I have very poor signal in work and would appreciate the ability to download the course content to watch later. Even if that means watermarking files either visibly or non-visibly.

That or some sort of offline version of HPA like Youtube does with Downloads.

There is a workaround way to do this, but as it could theoretically lead to piracy I think it's best not to post about it here. I have had an HP Academy employee email me how to do it in the past. Perhaps if you contact support directly they may share this info with you.

Thankyou for the heads up - I will do so. I would appreciate an above board version, though.

I’ve forwarded this feedback to the team. They have been tracking all requests for this, and an app is in the works but it is still some time away as it is a big project and we want it to be done to a high standard.

For now, given the widespread availability of internet access, the current delivery method has been widely successful for almost everyone, and it is what we recommend so that you can see all the content organised in its intended viewing order. It also means you don’t miss out on updates to any course material over time.

If you have circumstances that limit your internet access, email support@hpacademy.com, and the team can try to help you out, but note there is no secret, tidy, functional solution right now for offline viewing, just a very rough workaround.
