Are there any HPA resources (or others) which outline general considerations and a basic level of 'how to' when performing an engine swap (ie: not same brand / engine config etc).

I noticed in a video about the new engine for the HPA Toyota 86 there was a brief discussion around the diff and trans faces being parallel ... this is the kind of info I'm keen on as opposed to simply ensuring the bonnet closes and the oil pan is not on the road.

As per my build thread I'm doing a Nissan VQ37 into BMW E46 and have a strong desire to get it right the first time :D

Hey just saw your reply now sorry Ross ... thanks. Have checked the etsfab site but hard to determine if there is info in the courses around the position and mounting considerations for a swap. Not too concerned about the actual fabrication process of what ever is required at this stage.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
