What shock travel sensors do you use? looking for something other than RacePak for rear shocks on a top sportsman drag car- Any leads/tips/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

A decade ago now but I bought linear pots and one rotary pot from a motec dealer. I think I was logging 1000hz into a race-technology gave decent shock velocity histograms for pitch/roll. Guessing you may want a higher rate for tyre shake/tramp for drag application.

It is worth searching RSonline and Element14 for linear transducer to suit your motion and voltage range.

We sell Penny & Giles Linear pots with various terminations for different data systems.

I would also recommend penny and giles linear sensors, they're one of the few that will hold up in the motorsport environment.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
