Hi I was running 12.7@112 mph with 355whp at7400 rpm and 252wTQ @7000 rpm in Toyota 86 at 2800lbs .I’m building a new engine and going to up the hp . What hp goals should I be looking for to get down 10.99-11.1 ? And what hp would put at an 11.7? Below I attached my 12.7 video and time slip

As a rough guide, you need the inverse square of the percentage drop times the current power.

To simplify...

Current time 12.7, desired time 11.0. That is 11.0/12.7 = 0.86614 of the time and the inverse is 1.15454.

Square that and you'll get the approximate percentage power increase required = (1.333 - 1.0)*100 = 33.3%.

From your current power level, that would be 355*1.333 = ~473hp.

However, that's a guide and in practice there may be traction, power curve variations, gearing, rpm limitations, and other factors, that affect it.
