Hi

Whats the best way to wire two alternators to one battery pack? Does it work just connecting them in parallel? I'm guessing the wire length's have to be the same

Thanks

Could you clarify the setup you want to run - the battery/ies and alternators?

I believe it can be done, with some messing around in some cases.

Wire length is not normally relevant, but gauge may be.

Most of the off road racing truck/buggies that I have seen that run multiple alternators use single wire alternators, and have them coming back to a common bus bar that the batteries are also connected to. The wiring lengths are all different on these as the alternators are self regulating.

This is basically how i want wire it, both alternators are self regulating and same part .

I usually run two battery's and solenoids for redundancy but need both alternators to be working

Thanks
