I've just watched thru the PMU set up on the SR86 build, and have learned more in 1 hour than I have in months of browsing. Very informative.

I'm wondering if you do a similar detailed deep dive into a street application, where switch inputs are headlight combo stalks, or brake switches etc, and the outputs being headlights or electric power steer or AC control. I'm building a Datsun 1600, with an NA SR, 12v AC, power steer, and mostly standard I/O requirements.

All engine functions, fans and fuel pump would be ECU controlled, so I'd love to see the kind of spreadsheet and config steps as used for the PMU16 in that Webinar, applied to "whole of car" functionality.

Is there such a resource?

Tia-Adam.

I'd second that Adam. I rewired by GD WRX from bumper to bumper using a Elite 2500 and PD16.

Engine functions are well documented by Haltech and also well explained in the HPA course.

What created the most work and head scratching was the body functions. Headlights, wipers, indicators, hazards, cruise control etc etc.

It would be good to have HPA do a deep dive into the common ways OEM's wire these systems and control them, and how you convert that to a PDM.

Noted and passed along to the HPA team!

Hey Adam and Paul,

At the moment there is just Zacs example here - https://www.hpacademy.com/dashboard/courses/pdm-installation-and-configuration//minimum-viable-pdm-setup-bare-basics-pdm-example/

Andre is still chipping away at his FJ40 project, which will also run 2 PDMs while being a street-legal vehicle. I have made a note and will see if we can use that to fill in a bit of a gap in content here via that course or another webinar.

In the meantime, feel free to create a thread with any specific questions you have to help get you started =)
