Discussion and questions related to the course PDM Installation & Configuration
As seen in the PDM course and a lot of threads, most applications have 2 wiper speeds setup. In my case i want to use a single high speed control. According to documentation, it is specified to use pin O8 for low speed because it has a low side function to help for braking the motor. In the documents, there is no counter-indication to not use the O8 pin for high speed, only that the braking function is linked to this pin.
Wiring as follow:
12v to wiper motor high speed: O8
Wiper motor brake signal: A14
Gnd to body
Controlled by a Can Keypad
I'm french-canadian so maybe I misunderstood something ? (insert french confusion)
Thank you
Salut Keven,
My guess is that it won't matters as long as o8 is set at the slow speed in the software in order of the park function to works.
What wiper motor are you using?
Thanks for the fast answer.
Its for a S14 wiper motor, nothing fancy
