Quick question and wanted to see if anybody had any suggestions. I ran across a base cal for a ‘12 LML and the OS and checksums all matched up. ..when looking at fuel, timing, boost maps, etc all seems to look on point. When i flashed the calibration the truck turned on and all electronics worked as expected, except there was absolutely no throttle response when depressing the accelerator. Is this base file trash or is there anything i can do in the calibration to get the throttle to respond properly?

The file is on my computer, i’ll post later on once i’m home

thanks in advance

I'd suggest starting with a scan of diagnostic trouble codes. In the tune you may want to verify that none of the DTC's have been disabled. Typically this kind of behavior is the result of someone modifying the torque command unnaturally at 0% Throttle. You may see a P0606 or similar. Just shooting from the hip but those are my best guesses assuming the truck ran fine on the previous file. Any throttle issues like a bad TPS or tune that monkeys with 0% throttle settings can cause these symptoms.

Thanks for the quick response Nick,

Its an EFI live file so I don’t have access to the DTC list. Is there a way to gain access to DTCs on EFI live similar to how you can with HP Tuners?

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Some older versions have access to DTC's, also you may have access if you're your using the software outside the U.S.A

Hey Nick,

Went to canada and it still won’t allow me access to the DTC list. Would you be able to please point me in the right direction toward finding an older version of EFI Live? My time searching all over the internet hasn’t been very productive

Thanks in advance and hope all is well!

found an older version of efi. thanks for the help nick, we’re good to go!

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
