Hello ,

I saw the course on the injection of nitrous where it would be necessary to delay 2° for each 50hp of nitrous admitted.

Does this apply equally to being able to fully utilize the effectiveness of nitrous?

What do you think? do you have a theory or experience to share?

Many thanks

I'm sure there are guys out there who have used more nitrous on diesels than I have. With that said, my experience has been better without pulling as much timing. Maybe a degree for every 100HP on a 6.6L engine. On a smaller engine a degree for every 50 seems reasonable. If the engine is built you'll probably make more power leaving the timing alone.

Hope this is useful,

Nick
