Nick would i treat the torque based fuel map the same as a throttle based fuel map? 2006 LBZ
Brian,
You can certainly take that approach, although it's probably better for shift quality if you work the pedal to torque maps as far you can first before delving into the TBIQ maps. When you modify the pedal tables the ECM and TCM can still accurately track torque output for tip-in, defuel, and shift quality. When you mess with the TBIQ tables you'll get the extra fuel in mm3 but the toque numbers the ECM/TCM are working with now have some degree of bogus-ness. :)
Hope this helps,
Nick
Thanks Nick i got a tune wrote and flashed truck seems to respond very well and shift very smooth if you would like to review it and maybe discuss what i did ill be more than willing to send you the tune file. Do you plan on doing a worked example of the LBZ LMM platform?
Also have you ever had this happen when saving data logs everything triples when i don't save it its fine
Thanks
Brian
