i am coming from tuning gas engines and always was taught to have the wideband as far forward as possible, does this same theory apply to diesel tuning ? also can i use the same wideband sensor that i tune my gas engines with ? thanks for the help

I usually put them in the downpipe maybe 6-12 inches past the turbo. They seem to last pretty well there.

Same sensor is okay, yep.

Thank you for the info !
