When initiating the full power pass, do we just floor the throttle or should we gradually lean in on the throttle to prevent acceleration enrichment from coming into play?

If I were trying to duplicate dyno runs on the track, I would left foot brake to hold the starting speed (exactly what a load bearing dyno would do), while depressing the throttle pedal all the way, when you're at your desired starting RPM, just release the brake, as long as you hold the full throttle for a second or so before releasing, there will shouldn't be any transient enrichment active.

Or you could just drive the car. Exit the corner leading onto the straight with full throttle, and use that data. If you want to get a longer RPM range, then start in the tallest gear that will get to redline on that straight, the starting RPM will be much lower than if you were staying in the power band for 3 shifts.

Thanks David.
