Hi there,

I need ur help please, i have a car which is peugeot 106 long block fully built head

Here are the car’s specs:

Springs/retainers

Valve and springs

Large cams with cam gears

Injectors 330cc

Stock piston

Stock rods

Stock crankshaft 1.6l

The car is controlled by challenger sybele 4+

The question is, how many degrees you suggest me to run on a full throttle to attempt the MBT ?

Hi Ando a lot more information would be needed to give you a correct reply to this question but understanding how to find MBT is outlined in our courses, a good place to start tho for a non-turbo engine would be 26-28 degrees, but information like compression ratio and the cam specs is very helpful.

Regards Ross

Hi Ando, please rewatch this module as it shows you exactly how to find MBT for your exact engine/fuel/combination. https://www.hpacademy.com/dashboard/courses/efi-tuning-fundamentals/the-tuning-process-tuning-ignition

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
