Im working with an e36 320i and im currently looking at RM racing for their plug and play kit for the m50b20 with vanos and its looking very appealing due to the pricepoint.

Please suggest other ecus and seeing as this will be my first standalone ecu id like it to be within a 800 euro budget and it would be awesome if there is an adapter for the stock wiring harness.

The RMracing ecu im looking at:https://lowcostracingsolutions.co.uk/pnp-standalone-ecu-s/36-61-bmw-m50-plug-and-play-standalone-ecu-320i-520i-325i-525i-7427248066354.html#/53-accessories-internal_wideband_controller_lsu_49_sensor_and_gauge

Link PnP for E36 is my budget pick.

Doesn't work for the m50b20, I did message support and they said that its only for b25 which uses a Bosch ECU.

Sounds like an engine swap is in order! But seriously, I'm sorry I don't have something I could suggest in that price range.

Quality ECUs are generally already out of budget before wiring cost, and needing wiring will add a bit on top.

I've not heard of the ECU you found, so I cannot comment on it.

In that price range.... Maxxecu Street or Emu Classic are a good bang for the bug...

... if you want it as a plug in, kdfi by K-data.org offers MS2 based plug in for M50 and M52. But I don't know anything about them other than that they are a couple of years in business and located in Germany.
