Hi guys, i have a problem switching from bosch coils 0 221 504 006 to NGK coils 48041 on ecumaster classic.

I changed the dwell times as the wizard but the car doesn't want to start.

configuration:

- spark distribution: coils

- coils type: coils without amplifier

- output offset: 2

- firing order of course is ok.

can you help?

thank you

Have you verified you have spark? In your movie, the ECU think's it is generating spark. If you pull a spark plug, and attach it to the coil and ground the plug, do you see a spark?

Hi, i have no spark at all

The NGK VAG coil have a built-in amplifiers so your coil type setting is wrong.

In most cases powering up an ignition coil with this setting wrong will fry the coils so they are possibly damaged now.

Omg :( but only NGK have the amplifier or also the bosch 0221604800 have this amplifier inside?

and also why on ecumaster coils wizard is configurating like coils without amplifier?

thank you

the wizard only configures dwell time.

they are the same coils, same fitment. both have amplifiers

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
