looking for advice on this one . im assembling a vw 2.0 shortblock , i have had the cylinder bores bored and honed to the first oversize which is 83mm or 3.267 inch , the pistons im using are je forged pistons , the top ring gap to start with is .013 so filing needs to be done on this , however the gap on the oil rings are .017-.018 out of the box , the manual from manufacture state .015 minimum , i was hoping for a tight fit on the oil rings considering the fresh bore . is .017-.018 going to cause me oil issues or am i good to go with this ? has anybody got passed experience on a similiar bore size.

thanks
