Hey just going through the course and thought the order of a few of the modules was a bit odd. Obviously not a big deal but thought the people who manage this site might be interested in the feedback.
In the Practical Engine Building Skills I found it strange that the block preparation module was after the two modules for fitting bearings, doesn’t really seem like the correct order of the process or am I wrong?
The second thing I thought was weird was the module for Conrod Balancing was last? Why? Feels like it would sit better directly after the Piston balancing module especially since the video references the piston balancing.
Hi Timothy, the practical skills section is really just that - The individual skills you'll need to master when building engines. As such, while I understand your point, the order in this section really isn't critical. Where the order becomes critical however is in the 10 step process which provides the exact steps and order you'll need to proceed in. I hope that makes sense.
