Whilst removing material from the big end to match the desired weight, would you simply weigh the conrod once between each removing of material as demonstrated, or go even further and get multiple measurements and average out the results again before removing more material. I could definitely understand why to some degree it may be unreasonable as there is a lot of variation. But if you continued to see variances such as 0.2 g in measurements just from the difficulty in repeatability you could possibly end up removing too much material. Just want to know what's "normal" to go about doing in those instances.
Hello, Great question I personally take multiple measurements to be on the cautious side. it is easier to do that than go to far and have to then d the rest to match.
