i was curious what your thoughts are on shot peening parts rather than just replacing them assuming part is close to being within tolerance and easily cleaned back up and back to factory tolerances.
Uh, if you understand what shot-peening is, and why it's used, I fail to understand your question?
Could you please explain your reasoning - what you mean by 'close to being within tolerance', etc, and why you expect it to affect the part(s)?
