How is the ABS module diagnostic information communicated to a scan tool? I'm planning out a complete re-wire of a car for a PDM and standalone ECU and while looking at the ABS wire diagram, I only see a single wire running to the OBD2 diagnostic connector (pin 12). If I want to be able to scan for ABS faults in the future, should I just keep the 12v on pin 16 and ground on pin 4 to (power up the scan tool), and the ABS wire to pin 12? The car no longer has SRS and engine faults will be directly from the ECU through the USB port.
