Hi all!

I am using ECU Master Black alongside a PnP kit for the SR20DET.

The OEM Coolant temp sensor goes from ECU Pin 18 - to pin B4 on the PnP kit.

I have purchased a second CLT sensor (Bosch) which I will be placed using a sandwich plate between the block and water neck.

My question is, which sensor would be best to use? I am awaiting a reply from ECU MAster whether I can use both with the ECU - if not I will only run one to the ecu but unsure which would be more reliable.

TIA

I would recommend using the factory sensor for ECT measurement. You could wire a second sensor and use it for logging though if you wish. You need to be mindful of where you take the temperature reading as the water temp will fluctuate throughout the cooling system and we want to know the actual temperature the engine is being exposed to.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
