Hey Guys,

I am currently wiring my first Project and now I am questioning something.

Pin 18 of the Grey Connector is for Ignition Power Supply 12 V and Pin 13 of the Black Connector is Battery Power Supply 12 V

In the course they said that "Ignition On" powers my main power relay and this powers my ECU. Does that mean that this Relay powers both of my inputs with 12V

Your help is highly appreciated

Greetings from Austria,

Flo

In the case of ECUmaster Black, Yes both B13 and G18 can be on switched power. Alternatively you could power B13 (ECU constant) via a different circuit and have switched power controlling G18. I like that method less because I want to ensure the ECU and injectors are seeing the same voltages for the sake of injector deadtime accuracy

Other ECU's, Holley Terminator for example, need a constant power and switched power. It doesn't save calibrations without it wired that way.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
