I'm changing my 350z RB25DET from emu classic to a maxxecu race and doing my loom "properly" this time. (Club spec, I'm not confident enough to do a concentric loom)

I've received my ECU and with it comes preterminated and pinned loom.

They've done a lot more than I expected with this loom, alot of the splicing has already been done by Maxxecu. Which may or may not be helpful in the process of completing the loom.

Is this going to make my life harder?

Do I unpin the plugs to make my life easier? Or do I unpin and snip the terminals off? Then there's still the case of them already splicing the shielded wires.

I plan on using DR25 rather than expandable braid.

When youre finished with the loom, its best to unpin the wires. But save them if you want to add something in the future. If you dont have tools to unpin, your dealer has them.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
