Discussion and questions related to the course Practical Motorsport Wiring - Club Level
Thought I'd start a thread to see if folks had any good amazon prime links for wiring tools they worked with and enjoyed. I'm buying some crimpers and strippers and wanted some recommendations on peoples favorites that might also happen to be on prime day special.
Apologies if the search didn't help me find an existing thread that talks about this, be kind, it's my first post. :)
Can't make any recommendations, but I would advise against putting too much emphasis on cost when purchasing - from experience, that should usually be the last thing to consider, especially if applying the "things are cheap for a reason" thinking.
You may find it useful to check other options, too, like EBAY, as there may be some people who'd purchased quality gear and are now selling at a discount having finished their own project(s).
He's suggesting taking advantage of the big sale occurring annually, rather than suggesting buying cheap tools. I hope you found some goodies Dennis! I picked up a few things myself.
I'm a little late for prime day, but here's a couple tools that I've bought off Amazon that I use regularly and have no complaints about:
A really nice automatic wire stripper. Not as good as Ideal, but for just $27 (including a wire stop) the value is unbeatable. The included blades are good for /16 Tefzel, but not /32. I bought two, so I don't have two swap blades around for different insulation thicknesses.

To use that stripper with /32 wire, for an extra $12 these blades do a great job
