Hey everyone

So I’m in Australia and most suppliers only stock 20awg, would this be ok to use as an alternative to 22awg as the main difference is the amp and size of the wire which is very little looking at size of the wire but the difference in amp is greater when using 20awg. Would anyone have any suppliers other then pro wire & the other big suppliers which are mostly USA based or would it be ok to use it as an alternative

Regards Mark

Sure you can use 22awg wire, you might have issues with some very small pin autosport connectors.

Regarding suppliers, have you tried this place:

https://www.motorsportelectrics.com.au/shop-by-product/category/wire-and-loom-supplies

You might also try contacting some of these to ask about purchasing wiring supplies:

http://www.raceprovenwiring.com.au/

https://www.garage7.com.au

https://www.motorsportwiring.com.au/

https://proloom.com.au/

https://competitionelectrics.com.au/

Thank you for the links to the companies I’ve been searching google but haven’t had much luck for some reason

cheers Mark

Thanks for the website recommendations dudes! Finally found some reasonably priced cable! Hope all your builds are going well!

You can also try:

- https://www.cambridgetechnologies.com.au/ (can supply almost any wire that exists. Great source for 24-30awg)

- www.rapidcables.com.au (if you want TXL and not anything more)

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
