Discussion and questions related to the course Practical Motorsport Wiring - Club Level
Hello, do anybody know where to buy Wires and connectors, for a club level project, in Europe ?
best regards Frederik
Hi there, I have tried this myself a couple of years back and it came out that the sourcing effort for TXL wouldn't pay off for the price difference over Tefzel.
That said, ecuplus.de is a very solid start in any case.
deytrade.de is also a decent source and mouser will ship for free for and order over 50eur.
Thank you, its perfekt!
have a good day :D
have you looked here Xtra Motorsport https://xtramotorsport.com/motorsport-wiring/
I'm just curious, but could there be a market for TXL in Europe?
I have now been talking to several suppliers who can supply me with TXL in Norway, but they require me to order large quantities. So have been thinking about offering sales to private individuals in Europe. But don't know if there is a market for it.
What do the people think?
sorry for my english..
Hello thanks for all the replies, I did have trouble buying txl wire in Europe, so I ended up buying tefzel wire from xtra.lt, they did have some good prices at booth tefzel wire and shink tubing, and a great customer service.
And looking in the mirror, I think that was a pretty good solution, my wiring harness look much slimmer and the wire are just great to work with
ok, good tips!
I'm doing a street car, and not a track car that requires the highest standard. And then the price is a factor to take into account.
But I see that the price will be too high, if one is to order from the USA, for example. Understand well that people then choose to go a step up to tefzel.
But if you make a lot, and it's at club level, then it's a cost to think about. If you get 100m TXL for 40euro vs 100m Tefzel for 115euro. (examples are 16awg here)
