Having a great time learning. Thank you.

Intake/Supercharger insulating spacers for my Jaguar Project. I had one set come back from water-jet but my DXF export had issues with splines and scaling. The shop tried to help but needed more info to fix them. This will be my second attempt.

Autodesk Fusion has an issue with splines when sketches are exported to DXF. Autodesk has a patch for it. Once loaded, there's an option to Export DXF (Convert splines to polylines). These DXFs looked a lot better in Solidworks E-Drawings. I'm hoping the shop doesn't have any trouble.

I’ve attached a couple photos of the first attempt. They look great. They just don’t come close to fitting. 😂

Update 21AUG2024 :

Have to make parts at PartsBadger or Xometry to get my spacers to fit.

yeah, that's always been a bit of an issue with fusion and splines and dxfs. I tend to avoid splines for sheetmetals parts for this reason.

But like you say it can be done.

Attach some photos as you progress with things, always great to see projects come to life!
