Discussion and questions related to the course Professional Motorsport Data Analysis
Hi all,
I am looking for a good brake pressure sensor that works on a 5v power supply. Ranges are 0-10 bar, 0-100 bar (and freedom unit equivalent).
This is for a motorcycle application. I am well acquainted with the AiM sensors but these need a 12V supply.
Currently we are using the FuelTech sensors and have had multiple failures.
Thanks,
I've never had a Honeywell MLH sensor fail and these are a 5V supply sensor.
Any dealer in the US to recommend? I can see that you are based in Australia so this is a long shot.
Honeywell sensors are commonly available from Digikey or Mouser. Google is your friend...

Other choices from MoTeC USA (Racegrade brand) - note, not 1/8 NPT directly.
