I'm starting to explore AS connectors and my first impression is that the engagement feel is much harsher than I was expecting, most notably where the concentric track guides the locating pins on engagement. If it were an engine component, it'd be getting some sort of lubricant. Since careful application would keep any lubricant away from the connector pins, does anyone actually do this and if so what product? Teflon spray?

Thanks,

Hamish

I've used silicone grease in the past, and put it in with a tooth pick. It helps a lot, the harsher engagement seems to be only on the larger bodies.

Thanks Devin, I appreciate your input.

Not a problem Hamish.
