Has anyone got any tips on making up curly cord using DR-25? :)

I think you should just source a retractile cord with chemical resistant, abrasion resistant, elastomeric coating. It doesn't need to be the DR-25 brand to be perfectly adequate.

I know this isn't DIY, but if you really wanted it, I would contact someone in the business like this:

Thanks David.

I know there are various cords available, but I have seen them before with DR-25 sleeve and I was keen to have a go.

Just curious if anyone has done it :)

Yes, it's easy to do.

Just put DR-25 around your concentrically twisted wires, don't shrink it, wrap it around a about 10mm diameter rod which itself is covered in DR25 (not really necessary but works nicely) and then shrink your DR25 starting from one end, short sections at a time. Takes some practice but is easy to do.

Thanks Christoph, I’ll give that a try :)

Invert the coils after cooling for maximum effectiveness

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
