Hi!!

I have this due.

If I make the fuel table with AFR close Loop, if the lambda fail, the AFR will change and the engine could be poor and the result in knock/high temperetures in EGT...etc.

If open loop, don´t adjust automatically...then, if there were any vacuum problem, the inyector pulse don´t adjutst to the desired AFR....then, which is more secure?

And if we program close loop, how pressure is better to go to open loop?

Thank you and sorry for my bad english.

Your options will depend on the particular ECU your tuning. Often there will be a safety system that will disable the closed loop control if the sensor becomes faulty. In this case I have no concern using closed loop control. If your ECU doesn't have this function I tend to use closed loop control for idle and cruise only.

Thank you Andre.

I have Link G4+ in my 2 cars. How can I configure to change to open loop when the lamda is faulty?

Thank you

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
