thank you for all the great courses. There are so many different answer about ideal EGT. It is not covered in here so would like your input on this. tks
I use EGT to make sure the combustion in each cylinder is the same. Differences in manifold flow to individual cylinders show up as EGT differences, and adjusting the individual cylinder trims allows correction to achieve even EGTs across all cylinders. Generally 725 - 800 degC EGT are what we find in normally aspirated engines making good power.
