I have a big CHEV I'm working on with 6lbs of boost, pd type blower. This is a marine application. What are the differences in marine vs auto AFRs? Thanks
The biggest difference is that it's not uncommon in a marine application to be at WOT for extended periods of time. For this reason I tend to taper my AFR targets a little richer than what I'm happy with in an automotive sense. It all really depends on the specific application though - For 6 psi of boost I'd be inclined to target somewhere in the 11.0-11.5:1 vicinity.
