Dear HPA, on this glorious day I can finally confirm success in my first serious tuning project. I have achieved a lambda of .9 at Wide Open Throttle with my 1999 BMW 328iS. I was using Alientech's equipment for tuning and the Innovate Motorsports LM-2 not just for the Lambda readout, but also for data logging. This was seriously challenging and I almost gave up many times but I can confirm that I have achieved my goal with this first step. There was a ton of information I learned and if anyone else is in the same situation, I am here to help. The data can translated to RomRaider as well. Good luck to you all and thank you HPA! I hope I made you proud Andre!
Brother Andre, just a quick question if you read this. How can I check the accuracy of my MAF Scaling tune as the ECU does not respond to injection tuning? In other words, there might be areas where I am still in error but at .9 lambda due to MAF Scaling alone and not the proper injection. A good example is my very top end where the engine was running extremely rich. All I did was correct it to .9. I tried tuning for accuracy with the injection map but there was no change. The injection numbers do look consistent in the tune and the car also does not respond to its lambda map tuning. Any thoughts will be a great help.
