if i have buy a subaru sti 2005 that have been tuned by ecutek software by the old owner ... can i download this ROM file from its ECU using tactrix and ECUFLASH software?
You will most likely need to have an ecutek dealer unlock the rom.
No, the Ecutek calibration is not compatible with ECUflash. You will need to get an Ecutek dealer to unlock the ECU which essentially reverts it to stock and you will be able to tune it from there.
