I have a front engine with rear turbos setup on one of my cars, and the wastegate is under the car just after the merge from the two cylinder banks. I'm contemplating whether it really makes any difference where I place my EMAP sensor tap-in point. I think the pressure in the hot side of the exhaust should basically be the same in any location, but there are potential Bernoulli Effect issues and probably many other factors I haven't considered at all...
Any thoughts? :)
Hello Thad
I generally place it about 10mm before the wastegate pipe point if possible

Thank you for that Ross!
Might I trouble you to elaborate a little on your reasoning for that placement, or experiences with that placement versus others if you have tried other options?
