There was a topic about Fuel air temperature correction table setup and Andre put in that table cells FULL amount of correction, depending on the air density. However Haltech staff explained the PS ecu VE model on the forum and said that fuel air temperature correction is applied automatically in background, in VE tuning mode the table is used only for ADDITIONAL correction. Where is the truth?
I don't think either method are not the truth.
Haltech will explain how their product works and their preferred method of tuning it.
I'm sorry there is some confusion around that particular method so I'll clarify as I wasn't explicit enough in the webinar.
If you are running in injection time mode then the IAT correction table needs to be dealt with as explained in the webinar. In VE mode however the IAT is dealt with in the ideal gas law equation as part of the background fuel mode. In this case your IAT table should be filled with zeros. You can however make use of the IAT table to make slight adjustments if you find that the mixture is not tracking perfectly against IAT changes.
Apologies for the confusion.
