As title states, is this even possible? if so, has anyone successfully done this?

My PCM only has 0-5v input for wideband unfortunately and I cant go changing to another brand for a Can BUS input.

Many of the wideband models that deliver data over CAN also provide an analog voltage output (AEM X-series WB controller, Motec PLM). Buying one like that might allow you to move the CAN-based support if you change ECUs in the future.

Cheers David, so there would be no way to make a CAN wideband work with an analogue ECU input to achieve better accuracy for wideband readings?

No cost effective way. All solutions I can think of cost more than a different $200 wideband controller.
