I am a tuner/fabricator/shop owner, and I have been a VIP member for a while now. I am delighted to see the partnership with WinOLS and I am still navigating the new relationship.
I am looking for an accurate definition file for a 2003-2004 Volkswagen Passat W8 4.0 BDP (U.S. spec) with a Bosch ME7.1.1 ECU, hardware # - 07D906018AP and 07D906018E, software #368048. Where do I find, or who do I ask for, a definition file for that car and how many credits are needed?
I have created my own definition file using techniques I've learned from you (THANKS, ANDRE!!) which has enabled me to modify our own W8 Passats to a somewhat limited degree. I am slightly apprehensive to just '"send it" as I do not have 100% confidence that all of the maps are properly defined/organized. Hopefully, someone will be able to provide me with a definition file (I would even be happy with a DAMOS!) that will allow me to feel absolutely certain with the changes I have made. Real-time export with my UCM100 has amazing results, but flashing the file to the ECU causes idle issues that I assume are related to some inaccurate map definitions.
