First off great video and it helped me understand while following along with my "new" 2016 Porsche Cayenne CNRB with the same EDC17CP44.
Now the questions:
1. I have a bunch more of each MAP. Going to assume that is because the worked example was a 2010 without DEF/SCR and my 2016 has Adblue?
2. Might some maps be out of order? For example say a cluster of 4 or 5 towards the middle or end and then a rouge outlier near the start of the bin file?
3. Order of MAPs in a EDC17CP44 controller pretty static among vehicles that use this ECU or it just depends on the vehicle?
4. Good source for Damos or A2L to actually "know" what each table is actually for?
Basically all your questions can be answered by getting a good map pack. And I would specifically get a 'map pack' as opposed to a DAMOS or A2L, they tend to be a bit overwhelming. As for where to get this from, there are a huge number of people offering these now, especially on something as well supported as that particular controller, but I can't give any recommendations personally. Google should find you someone easy enough though.
