Official Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
1.1 The promoter is High Performance Academy Limited (NZBN as registered), of Queenstown, New Zealand ("HPA", "we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. Agreement to these Terms
2.1 By entering the HPA Legends 2026 Giveaway (the "Competition") you accept these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") and agree to be bound by them. If you do not accept the Terms, do not enter.
2.2 These Terms prevail over any inconsistent statement in any advertising, social media post, email or other promotional material relating to the Competition.
3. Competition Period
3.1 The Competition opens at 9:00 am New Zealand Standard Time on Saturday 22 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm New Zealand Daylight Time on Sunday 6 December 2026 (the "Competition Period").
3.2 The Competition was publicly launched on Tuesday 1 September 2026. Entries received between 22 August 2026 and 31 August 2026 were accepted by way of the Free Email Entry described in clause 6.2 only, and are valid entries on the same basis as all other entries under these Terms.
3.3 Entries received after the close of the Competition Period will not be accepted. HPA's server clock is the authoritative record of the time an entry is received.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Competition is open to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are:
- (a) aged 18 years or over, or the age of majority in their place of residence if higher;
- (b) legal residents of a country or territory that is not an Excluded Territory listed in Schedule 1; and
- (c) not an Excluded Person under clause 4.2.
4.2 The following are not eligible to enter ("Excluded Persons"): directors, officers, employees and contractors of HPA; the immediate family members (spouse, partner, parent, child, sibling) and household members of any of those persons; and any person involved in the administration, judging or supervision of the Competition.
4.3 Residents of the US States of New York and Florida are not eligible to enter. Any entry received from a resident of either State is void.
4.4 Entrants must enter in their own name and provide accurate, current and complete information. Entries made by automated means, by proxy, on behalf of another person, or using multiple email addresses or accounts are void.
4.5 HPA may require proof of identity, age and residence before awarding the Prize. Failure to provide satisfactory proof within 14 days of request will result in disqualification.
5. Entries and Points
5.1 The Competition is a random-draw promotion. Each entrant accumulates Entry Points during the Competition Period. Each Entry Point is one entry into the draw. The more Entry Points an entrant holds at the close of the Competition Period, the more entries that entrant has in the draw.
5.2 Entry Cap. No entrant may hold more than 500 Entry Points (the "Entry Cap"), regardless of how those points were earned. Entry Points accrued above the Entry Cap are disregarded. The Entry Cap applies equally to entrants who make a purchase and entrants who do not. The maximum number of entries in the draw is therefore the same for every entrant, and no purchase increases any entrant's chance of winning beyond that maximum.
5.3 Entry Points are personal to the entrant, have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, pooled, sold or exchanged, and expire at the close of the Competition Period.
5.4 Entry Points are recorded against the email address used to enter. Entrants can view their Entry Points balance on the Competition page while logged in to their HPA account.
6. How to Enter
6.1 To enter, visit hpacademy.com/giveaway (the "Competition Page") during the Competition Period and complete the Free Email Entry. All other Entry Point actions in Schedule 2 are optional and are available only to entrants who have first completed the Free Email Entry.
6.2 Free Email Entry. Submit your name and a valid email address on the Competition Page. This is free, requires no purchase, and awards the Entry Points shown in Schedule 2. Every entrant must complete this step. Where an entrant completed this step in person at an HPA event on or after 22 August 2026, it counts as the Free Email Entry under this clause.
6.3 Free Bonus Actions. Entrants may earn additional Entry Points, at no cost, by completing the free actions listed in Part A of Schedule 2. Each free action awards Entry Points once only per entrant unless Schedule 2 states otherwise. Free actions are available to all entrants worldwide at no cost and with no barrier to participation. Where a free action consists of consenting to join a Competition partner's mailing list, that consent is optional, is given directly to the named partner under that partner's privacy policy, and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting Entry Points already credited.
6.4 Referral Bonus. Entrants may earn Entry Points for each new person who enters the Competition using that entrant's unique referral link, subject to the Entry Cap. A referral counts only where the referred person is a new, eligible entrant who was not already entered in the Competition, uses a distinct email address, is not the referring entrant, and completes the Free Email Entry and at least one further free action listed in Part A of Schedule 2. Entry Points for a referral are credited when the referred person completes that further free action. Where a person enters using more than one referral link, only the first link used is credited. Each person may be referred once only. Self-referral, referral of Excluded Persons, and referral by spam, unsolicited messaging or deceptive means will result in disqualification.
6.5 Purchase Bonus. Entrants who purchase an eligible HPA product listed in Part B of Schedule 2 from hpacademy.com during the Competition Period will receive the Entry Points shown for that product. Purchase Entry Points count toward the Entry Cap in the same way as all other Entry Points. A purchase is not required to enter or to reach the Entry Cap; any entrant can reach the Entry Cap through free actions alone. Purchase Entry Points are credited once per eligible product. If a purchase is refunded or cancelled, the associated Entry Points are removed. Eligible HPA products are sold online at the same price and on the same terms to customers in every country where HPA sells, including New Zealand.
6.6 Free Alternative Method of Entry. For the avoidance of doubt, the Free Email Entry, Free Bonus Actions and Referral Bonus together constitute a free method of entry that is available to all entrants, offers the same maximum number of entries as any purchase route, and is subject to the same Entry Cap and the same draw.
6.7 Each entrant may enter once only. Entry Points must be accrued against a single entrant account. HPA may, at its discretion, void all Entry Points of any entrant who attempts to enter using more than one account or email address.
6.8 Entrants who submit a build, photo, update, or other material to HPA as part of a Free Bonus Action ("Entrant Content") must comply with clause 11.
7. Entry Validity
7.1 HPA may in its sole discretion reject or disqualify any entry, entrant or Entry Points that HPA determines to be incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated, in breach of these Terms, in breach of the HPA website terms of use, or otherwise not in the spirit of the Competition.
7.2 HPA is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected or not received for any reason, including technical failure, network interruption or error.
7.3 If a dispute arises as to the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorised account holder of the email address used to enter.
8. The Prize
8.1 There is one (1) Prize. The Prize is the 2JZ engine package as described on the Competition Page at the close of the Competition Period (the "Prize"). The approximate retail value of the Prize is USD 60,000. The actual value of the Prize may vary depending on market conditions and the winner's location.
8.2 The Prize is supplied as described. No cash alternative is offered. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other prize.
8.3 If the Prize, or any component of it, becomes unavailable for reasons beyond HPA's reasonable control, HPA may substitute a prize or component of equal or greater value.
8.4 The Prize is a high-performance engine package intended for motorsport, competition and off-road use. It is supplied without warranty as to road-legality, emissions compliance, certification or fitness for use in any particular vehicle or jurisdiction. The winner is solely responsible for:
- (a) obtaining any certification, inspection, registration or approval required in the winner's jurisdiction before installation or use;
- (b) safe and lawful installation, tuning, operation and maintenance; and
- (c) compliance with all laws relating to the Prize's use.
8.5 Any component of the Prize supplied by a third-party manufacturer is covered by that manufacturer's warranty, if any, and by no other warranty from HPA.
9. Delivery of the Prize
9.1 HPA will arrange and pay for shipping of the Prize to the winner's nominated residential address in an eligible country, including freight, insurance in transit, and all import duties, customs charges and taxes levied on importation of the Prize. The winner will not incur any cost to claim or receive the Prize.
9.2 The winner remains responsible for any income tax or other tax on the receipt of the Prize that may be payable in the winner's jurisdiction, and for any cost relating to the installation or use of the Prize after delivery.
9.3 HPA will dispatch the Prize within 90 days of the winner satisfying the conditions in clause 10. Delivery timeframes vary by destination and are outside HPA's control. Where the Prize cannot lawfully be shipped to the winner's nominated address, the winner must nominate an alternative address in an eligible country.
9.4 Risk in the Prize passes to the winner on delivery.
10. Draw, Notification and Claiming the Prize
10.1 The draw will take place on or about Friday 11 December 2026 at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, or, if HPA is unable to conduct the draw at that event, at HPA's offices in Queenstown, New Zealand within 7 days of that date.
10.2 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using HPA's computerised random draw system, with each Entry Point held at the close of the Competition Period constituting one entry in the draw. Each entry has an equal chance of being selected. HPA will retain a record of the entry pool at the close of the Competition Period and of the draw result, and will make that record available to any regulator with jurisdiction over the Competition on request.
10.3 Where the law of a territory in which the Competition is open requires the draw to be conducted or scrutinised by an independent person, HPA will comply with that requirement for the draw as a whole.
10.4 The winner will be notified by email to the address used to enter, within 7 days of the draw, and may also be announced publicly on hpacademy.com and HPA's social media channels.
10.5 To claim the Prize the winner must, within 14 days of the notification email under clause 10.4 being sent:
- (a) respond to HPA confirming acceptance of the Prize;
- (b) provide proof of identity, age and residential address satisfactory to HPA;
- (c) if resident in Canada, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance; and
- (d) sign and return a declaration of eligibility, release and, where permitted by law, publicity consent in the form provided by HPA.
10.6 If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 14 days, is found to be ineligible, declines the Prize, or fails to satisfy clause 10.5, the winner forfeits the Prize and HPA will conduct a further random draw from the remaining valid entries. The same process applies to any subsequent winner.
10.7 The name and country or region of residence of the winner will be published on the Competition Page from the date of confirmation for a period of at least 30 days. Winners may object to publication of their surname and region by contacting [email protected]; where HPA is required by law to make winner details available, it will do so on request.
11. Entrant Content
11.1 By submitting Entrant Content, you grant HPA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and communicate the Entrant Content, with attribution to your first name or username, in connection with the Competition and HPA's marketing and community platforms.
11.2 You warrant that Entrant Content is your own original work; that you own or have permission to use everything in it, including any person shown; that it does not infringe any third party's rights; and that it is not unlawful, offensive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable.
11.3 HPA may remove or decline to publish any Entrant Content at its discretion, and may withhold Entry Points for Entrant Content that does not meet these Terms or HPA's community guidelines.
12. Publicity
12.1 By accepting the Prize, and except where prohibited by law, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the Competition, including being photographed and filmed at the point of delivery and in a follow-up story about the Prize, and consents to HPA using the winner's name, likeness, voice, city or region of residence, and statements in that publicity without further payment.
13. Privacy
13.1 HPA collects personal information from entrants, including name, email address, country of residence and, for the winner, proof of identity and delivery address, for the purposes of administering the Competition, verifying eligibility, awarding and delivering the Prize, publicity under clauses 10.7 and 12, and complying with law.
13.2 HPA is the controller of that personal information and handles it in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where they apply, and HPA's Privacy Policy at hpacademy.com/support/privacy-policy/, which forms part of these Terms.
13.3 Entrants' personal information will be stored and processed in New Zealand and may be transferred to HPA's service providers in the United States and elsewhere. HPA applies appropriate safeguards to those transfers.
13.4 HPA may share the winner's name and delivery address with freight, customs and logistics providers for the purpose of delivering the Prize.
13.5 Personal information collected for the Competition will be retained for 12 months after the close of the Competition Period, or longer where required to meet a legal obligation or defend a claim, and then deleted.
13.6 Marketing consent is separate from entry. Entrants may opt in to receive HPA marketing communications when entering. Opting in is not required to enter, earn Entry Points or win, and does not affect the number of entries an entrant holds. Entrants may withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any HPA email.
13.7 Entrants have the right to access, correct and, where applicable, request deletion of their personal information, and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (New Zealand), the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or their local supervisory authority. Requests may be sent to [email protected].
14. Disqualification
14.1 HPA may disqualify any entrant who, in HPA's reasonable opinion, tampers with the entry process; engages in fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful conduct; breaches these Terms; harasses or abuses HPA staff, other entrants or the public; or acts in a manner that brings HPA into disrepute.
14.2 HPA reserves the right to seek recovery of damages and other remedies from any person who attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition.
15. Liability
15.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
15.2 Subject to clause 15.1, HPA and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense (including indirect, consequential or special loss) suffered or incurred by any entrant or winner arising from or in connection with the Competition or the Prize, including its acceptance, use, installation, operation, or delivery, except to the extent caused by HPA's fraud, wilful misconduct or negligence.
15.3 Subject to clause 15.1, HPA's total liability to any entrant arising from or in connection with the Competition is limited to the retail value of the Prize.
16. Indemnity
16.1 The winner indemnifies HPA against any claim, loss or liability arising from the winner's use, installation or operation of the Prize, or from any breach of these Terms by the winner.
17. Amendment and Cancellation
17.1 If for any reason beyond HPA's reasonable control the Competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including as a result of fraud, technical failure, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, change in law, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition, HPA may, subject to any applicable law or regulator direction, modify, suspend or cancel the Competition, or amend these Terms.
17.2 Any amendment will be published on the Competition Page and will not disadvantage entrants in respect of entries already made.
18. Social Media Platform Release
18.1 The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook, Instagram), Google LLC (YouTube), TikTok Pte. Ltd., X Corp. or any other social media platform. By entering, you release each platform from all liability in connection with the Competition. Any information you provide is provided to HPA and not to any platform.
18.2 Entrants must comply with the terms of use of any platform they use in connection with the Competition.
19. General
19.1 HPA's decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except as required by law.
19.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
19.3 HPA's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive its right to do so later.
19.4 These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Each entrant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand, without prejudice to any right an entrant may have under mandatory local consumer law to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
19.5 Where the Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
19.6 These Terms were last updated on 25 August 2026.

The following additional terms apply to entrants resident in the territories indicated, and prevail over the general Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
Canada
Winning is conditional on the winner correctly answering, unaided and within a time limit, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by email or telephone. The Competition is open to residents of all Canadian provinces and territories, including Quebec.
United Kingdom
The Competition is a prize promotion conducted in accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code), Section 8. The winner will not incur any cost to claim or receive the Prize. The winner will be notified within 7 days of the draw and the Prize will be dispatched within the period stated in clause 9.3. The winner's surname and county will be made available to anyone who requests them by emailing [email protected] within 3 months of the close of the Competition Period, unless the winner objects.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory right under the consumer protection law of the entrant's member state.
India, Japan and Sweden
Purchase Entry Points under clause 6.5 and Part B of Schedule 2 are not available to residents of India, Japan or Sweden. For those entrants the Competition is a free promotion in which no purchase of any kind is a condition of entry or affects the number of entries held. Residents of India, Japan and Sweden may earn Entry Points through all free actions in Part A of Schedule 2, up to the Entry Cap, on the same basis as all other entrants.
United States
No purchase necessary. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. Void in New York, Florida and where prohibited by law. The Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Entrants who are US residents agree that the release in clause 18 extends to all social media platforms, and that any dispute will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
