00:00 - In this Worked example we're going to be looking at the tuning process and how it's applied to a 2013 VF HSV R8 Club Sport.
00:11 This particular car is an Australian domestic market product, however it runs the GM LS3 6.2 litre V8, and this is the same engine you're going to find in a lot of US domestic market models as well.
00:26 So the tuning we're going to be looking at is applicable to a wide range of vehicles.
00:32 For this particular Worked example, we're going to be using the HP tuners reflashing platform, and we're going to be looking at what tables we need to adjust in the ECU to suit what is currently a completely 100% stock, unmodified vehicle.
00:48 Once we've optimised the tune on the standard vehicle, we're also going to switch to an over the radiator cold air intake, and we're going to look at rescaling the mass airflow sensor calibration to suit this altered intake.
01:02 We're also going to be looking at performing a speed density conversion on the ECU, and we'll discuss how we can scale the ECU or adjust the ECU to suit a larger set of injectors.
